Diary: Thursday

Got out of bed at 10:30 and got dressed. Had breakfast. Took pills and brushed my teeth. Lied on the couch. Left home at 11:30. Took Dundas streetcar to Sound Times (a drop-in centre for consumer/survivors), at Parliament. Turned on computer. Had a coffee. Explored new features of OpenOffice Writer, the Linux word processor. Started feeling less depressed (my job is teaching members how to use the computers). Had another coffee. Helped George set up a blog (he writes poetry). Helped Todd with a gmail problem (Google web-based email). Was worried that Abdul, my regular, would not show up for the first time, which did in fact come to pass. Hoped that I wouldn't get laid off. Recorded what I taught people that shift, as well as my hours (always 12:30 to 5:00). Went home.

Had a glass of Coke, while watching the CBC news at 6:00. Had baked beans and brown bread for dinner and cookies. Washed dishes w/ soap. Turned on computer. Checked email. Javier was supposed to send me a 2nd Java tutorial a week ago, and still no word from him. Lied on the couch. Watched The National on CBC Newsworld at 9:00. Fell asleep on couch. Woke up. Brushed my teeth. Turned off the computer. Went to bed.
